Benue Govt. gives contractors deadline on NYSC project

The Benue Government on Friday gavethe contractors handling the
National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) camp project up to December to
complete the project.
Mr Egbiri Idaah, the Commissioner for Youth and Sports, gave the
deadline in Makurdi when he held a meeting with the contractors.
He said that the delay by the contractors to complete their various
project on schedule was causing untold hardship on the corps
membersundertaking their orientation at the camp.
Idaah, who commended the contractors for attaining 90 per cent
completion of the job, said,however, that much still needed to be done
in order to give the camp a befitting phase lift.
He assured them that the ministry would channel their problems to
appropriate quarters for onward action. (NAN)
