The Federal Government on Wednesday said Nigerians will enjoy 18 hours
uninterrupted power supply from 2014 when most of the current
investments in the sector would have been completed.
Yerima Ngama, minister of state for finance, stated this while
briefing State House correspondents shortly after the Federal
Executive Council (FEC) meeting presided over by Vice President Namadi

of fund, stressed that the"Ministry of Power has enjoyed tremendous
release of funds" from thefinance ministry and that Nigerians should
be patient with government as it gradually rolls out the power

consumers by 2014 as promised.
He declared also that the power sector had enjoyed the best of
attention fromthe current administration, adding thatthe Ministry of
Power actualises its mandate of providing adequate electricity supply
for Nigerians.
